For unknown reason, it seems that Adobe program is being used to open the pdf documents recently.Įven make a PDF reader for Mac OS but there is no way I am going anywhere near the Acrobat Reader. In the past, when I used TeXShop to write documents, Preview from the Mac OS/X was used by the system to open pdf documents. pdf which has been scanned on a photocopier, I want to open it with the thumbnail view showing, so I get an overview of the document. How do I make Preview default to showing the Thumbnail sidebar? I use Preview for documents. When I open PDFs they now open in Acrobat Reader instead of Preview and I don’t want that.
